of the Shizuoka branch		   Tohei gakuen was the best environment to study in. You can learn Koichi Tohei sensei's teaching from the fundamentals.

Ki-Aikido is based on oneness of mind and body. When I attained oneness of mind and body, I could do many things which I had thought I could not do. I had this kind of experience many times in the class. Also, I got self confidence and I found that it is important to be plus. Tohei sensei's teaching is to be plus.

There are many conflicts all over the world. If we respect others and act, we can reduce most of those conflicts.
If we respect others' Ki, put ourselves in another's place and act, we can lead our society to a plus way. Tohei sensei's teaching is to show society how to follow a plus way.

Tohei sensei teaches us many ways in which we can be plus. What I have learnt at Tohei gakuen have become rules of my life. And I think it is my mission to tell Tohei sensei's teaching to many people.
I remember that Tohei sensei said, "You will be an instructor of life".





A current student		   I saw a boy who was practicing Ki-Aikido. His graceful manners inspired me. I have a grandson. Therefore, I thought I should study Ki-aikido and teach this to my grandson. And I began to think that this is my role. This is why I decided to enter Tohei gakuen.

I have been studying Tohei sensei's teaching. But I can study his teaching from different angle through Ki-aikido. And I can understand Ki deeper.
In the Tohei gakuen, we study tea ceremony, calligraphy with Ki and English.

Tohei gakuen is a very good environment and I can relax both mind and body. Everyday class starts from reading Ki saying book together, stretching then practicing Ki-Aikido.

You are never too old to learn. My purpose is to master the basics of Ki-Aikido technique in this two years. To complete this purpose, I am doing not only "How to say" but also "How to do".
I am very happy to study Ki principles from good instructors who have been studying Tohei sensei's teaching seriously. And also, I am very happy to study it with young classmates. Thank you very much.
